The Shoeflower that blossomed
But too late. . .
Too late for its own life.

Too late for its own life.
I had once in my garden a shoeflower bush whic
h refused to come to terms with its identity. It never revealed itself, it never flowered. It remained a bush in the corner for the most part of its life. But when we had to give into the subtle yet threatening demand of the so called minority by giving away a piece of our land the bush had to go.

Voila! On the day of its pre planned, well defined death it flowered. It flowered like never before. Why? Was it its appeal to save itself? Was it its way of asking us to reconsider ? Showing us that it too was able to fulfil its purpose. Was it Fulfilling its purpose knowing too well that there might never be another chance?!!!
Is that why life dies. ...
Because they were too late. . .
In giving birth?!!!!!
