I do now! For me the transformation into a fatalist occurred just as everything happens to me - as a coincidence!
Today it was the 81st Oscar Awards! And why would it change me!
I was moved by the humility, simplicity and apparent directness with which the men who changed history took in the moment!
yes! you guessed right I am talking about A.R.Rahman and Rasul Pookutty. Rahman true to his style was the man of less words and more music.
But it was Pookutty who gave me goose pimples and his words made me place myself in history, if I may say so!
He captured the vastness of India into one sound "OM". A sound which begins with silence and is followed by even more silence. What more could be the essence of an Indian?!
And I for one has never thought about it!
It was a epiphany for me! In that moment i was also part of history! I am also an Indian!
In me is also immense voice sandwiched between even more immense silences!
